Someone impersonates Spiderman robbing a bank
A character called Mysterio manipulates the Bugle against him
He is a special effects expert who can create very convincing illusions
He is defeated
A character called the Green Goblin recruits the Enforcers
He tells Spiderman about a movie that a famous director wants him in
It is actually a ploy to get him to star along actors who play the Enforcers who are the real deal
They try and take Spiderman out and chase him into a cave on location which happens to have Hulk hiding in it
Green Goblin escapes as Spidey gets away from Hulk and leaves the Enforcers tied up for the authorities
The Chameleon wires money to his friend Kraven the Hunter who is renowned as the greatest hunter in Africa
Kraven is determined to hunt the greatest game of all, challenged by Chameleon- Spiderman
Kraven possesses great strength, endurance, speed, stamina, and agility by way of a magical potion
Peter begins neglecting Betty after Kraven and Chameleon are defeated and deported to South America

Torch is there to help out but Goblin escapes after Spiderman leaves to check on Aunt May in the hospital. Everyone believes he’s a coward but Torch assumes he had a reason to bail
Jameson publicizes it and everyone from FF to Avengers to Daredevil question it
Sandman teams up with The Enforcers who all abduct Torch
Betty starts spending more time with another man, Ned Leeds
Spidey frees Torch and together they take the villains down
